I LOVE eVerYTHing about having a little GIRL!

Ava baby is just the most fun little bundle of cuteness ever! But really she is like my little doll-- I dress her up, we play, we dance around the house and just have fun. This afternoon I decided to give her a pedi but even go a step further and give her GLITTER TOES! Last week I got glitter toes done myself so I bought some of the same glitter used on me and used it for her. I was actually really impressed with how patient she was with me. I have only painted her toes 3 times since she was born and 2 of those times she was asleep...haha. But I set up my little salon on the kitchen table. Got snacks ( for her animal crackers) and was ready to go.
She was being such a silly little monkey the whole time just laughing so hard-- I'm sure it was tickling her little feet like crazy.
Mmmm.... a little food smile :)
ANd then da da da dahh... the finished result! I think she looks adorable and now everywhere she walks she sparkles and the light dances and bounces off her. The picture really doesn't do it justice. She looks so dang adorable. I plan on keeping her little piggies done ALL summer long. And all different colors. Oh and her toes match her new shoes-- that I LOVE from her Auntie Brittney.

Mommy and baby with matching piggies :) So again I can't even express how much I love having a little girl. I am so excited to have more little ones and would love a little boy too. But for now I am just enjoying Little Miss A... we are best buddies. I love her SOOO much and am just so glad I have her in my life!!

Sand DUNES

After have SO much fun with our friends the weekend before we decided to go camping again the following weekend since Russ had the day off. Usually we go with other people but this time we decided it would be just the 3 of us. To be honest I didn't know if it would be as fun. But WOW was I wrong. We had SO much fun. Everything about this trip was perfect... absolutely perfection. It was just one of those times where life just felt complete in every way.

Here is my little peek-a-boo. She's so funny. She was NOT a fan of the sand. She stood on the mat outside the trailer for the longest time not daring to step off into the sand. I took off her sandals so she could feel the cool sand between her toes. Personally I loved walking around barefoot. It was almost as if we were at the beach.. but a beach with no water. uh huh. The weather was positively perfect.
If you notice in the pic above she is trying to keep her feet as far away from the sand as possible. She is such a little miss priss-- never wanting to get dirty.
So I put her in the sand... I mean she had to give it a try so she could love it like me. And well.. she wasn't sure. She didn't cry but she didn't smile either. I guess she was trying to decide.
Aww.. but aren't her chubby bubbie little toes just so dang cute. I just wanta kiss 'em.
And then of course there is her loving Mommy and Papa. I was just in complete heaven this whole trip. I can't wait do do more trips with just our little family. We spent our time playing, riding the 4-wheeler, blasting the sound system in the trailer and dancing around laughing and having a great time. I LOVE my little family and there was just something about this day that everything just fit- everything was wonderful. I had so much love in my heart I could have burst into a million happy pieces. We felt like a family and parents and not that its not like that all the time its just that day it came together.
Me and Little Miss trying desperately to escape the sand :)

Silly little one. At least she is getting use to her helmet. Probably cuz it's pink. She loves anything pink ;) I mean after all she is my daughter. We wouldn't expect any less from her.

cAmPinG TIME

We went on an AWESOME camping trip to San Rafael Swell with some friends. It was our first time taking our new camp trailer.. and we absolutely LOVED it. I didn't want to come home. Usually by day three I am so done and ready to leave but with a trailer I kept myself and Ava clean. We had so much fun we ended up going on another camping trip the following weekend. Hopefully this is the first of many, many camping trips this year.

OH wow here we are- mama and little miss. I just love how she loves me. Everything I do she wants to do it. Whether it's laundry or dishes or whatever. She makes messes, break things but her intentions are so sincere and she really wants be like mommy. And that I adore. She is my little mini-me. I love every little bit of her baby self. Love.. Love... Love..
Okay so let me explain this pic. We are NOT actually driving. To find our camp spot we went off-road on this dirt trail and at one point we had to go up this hill and our friends driving in front of us got stuck and so we were stopped for a while then after they got unstuck we were driving like 5 mph so we wouldn't get stuck again. So that's when I took these next few. What better to do when your bored then a photo op right? So below she is "helping" daddy drive the car. She quite enjoyed it. She LOVES her daddy so much. I love how they have such a close relationship. She will just stare at him all the time.

Okay so yes I do realize that I am posting a pic of my little lady picking her nose.... not so lady like buuuttt.. its pretty funny. Whenever you ask Ava "Where's your nose?" She immediately shoves her finger right up there. At least she knows where it is I guess. Haha. I guess that little finger of hers fits just right in the hole. She thinks its funny, probably cuz we always laugh when she does it. So she will do it and start laughing. We need to stop on that one. I really don't want my daughter walking around picking her nose. I'm sure other people won't see the humor. Oh well.. haha

Of course the photo op wouldn't be complete without a self portrait..

I just love camping. I guess it's just nice to get away from our crazy lives and spend time together without the interuptions of work and life. Ava and I hardly ever see Russ cuz he works long hours and we miss him so much. Most toddlers have early bedtimes but I keep Ava awake much later so Russ can play with her when he gets home which is usually around 7:30 or 8. So Ava's bedtime is 10ish. I realize that is SO late for one yr old but I don't want her to never have time to spend with her dada. They are so cute playing together and I don't want to take that away. SHe has 2 long naps in the day to make-up for her late bedtime. Alot of nights I put her to nap around 4 and wake her up when he gets home. He works so hard for our little family and to make sure we have everything we need. I just love his so much. We are so lucky to have him taking care of both of us. So camping is my solitude now. I get to selfishly have him all to myself and I LOVE that!

Here is my sexy hubby ready to ride! I think he looks SO dang hott hott in all his gear. OH and yes I picked out his whole getup- Christmas gifts. He loves it and so do I :)

Oh and WHAT could be betta then my 2 all time favvvs! um.. nothing at all.. they are THEE best

Russ and his buddy Brandon... ready to RIDE!

We took a 4-wheeler ride up the trail. It was so pretty! He let me drive half the time and I didn't do half bad. I think I only stalled out once (or twice hmm..) Its a clutch and that's not my forte.
Papa bear taking little muchkin for a quick zip around camp. IT was COOOLLLD>
Next day we went for a long ride with our friends on bikes and 4-wheelers. Here we are taken a little break for what else? pics
Here is my little storm trooper.. haha. We finally bought Ava her very own helmet. But it is so HUGE on her. We were trying to decide between this helmet and the full face ones. But the full face was much heavier and she would cry when we'd try it on her, this one at least we got a smile when she looked at herself in the mirror. SOO it was a go. She wouldn't let us put goggles on at first. But 45 minutes into the ride she didn't even fight it. I bet she hated the wind blowing in her face so I'm sure she welcomed the goggles then. She is pretty cute those in her riding outfit- with her little camo sweater (even though its way too big)

The day we left I wanted to get some pics of the two of us and her smiling. Whenever I say" Are you stinky" She smiles and laughs. I make a silly face when I say it. So the photo below captured her cute smile and my dumb expression... That's why my eyes are all squinty and expression is over exaggerated. I swear I don't smile that gay normally. haha

Another smiling shot! I love her!!! Mama loves you Little Miss Priss. Ava is my little prissy baby. She doesn't like getting her hands dirty at all. Just like me.. :) She would trip and fall in the dirt and would hold out her hands like all disgusted. It was so cute. But I'm glad I don't have an overly messy child. At least not yet. That may be a phase she just hasn't reached yet. Or maybe she is just my little girlie girlie!
Aww... and here we are the WhoLE fam. Even our little furry monster, Lucky. Nothing in life is better than family. I love my little family more than all the stars in the sky and fish in the sea. I never realized how fulfilled my life would be with my darling little angel. I can't wait to have more just like her. But I'm not TOO anxious. Maybe next year we'll start on that. But for now I am completely satisfied with just the 3 of us!

Happy Easter

We had an AWESOME Easter this year. I must admit every single holiday is just a million times better with a cute little girl. Here is Ava with all the goods she got on Easter morning. She LOVES her moterized pink 4-wheeler! Its pretty cool. I wish I had one. haha.

All her gifts. She bought her cute Easter clothes but didn't think she was into opening that so I just stuck with the toys this year.
Then later Sunday afternoon we went over to my parents house for the family lunch and easter egg hunt. Ava LOVED it. IT was just the cutest thing EVER. We had been practicing all week so she would understand the concept of putting the eggs in the basket.

But when we practiced before Easter the eggs were empty and now they had treats in them. She would hide them behind her back. It was so funny. Then she would shake them so hard the eggs would break open.

Meeting Mr. Easters

Saturday night, Easter Eve, we took little miss Ava to meet the Easter bunny. I must admit I was a bit nervous. After all we never took her to see Santa so I had no idea how she would act. And yet a part of me felt like she was missing out so I was determined to take her to meet Mr Easters. When we got to the mall and were waiting in line. Ava was SOO happy and excited. She was just jibber jabbering away and pointing, cooing at the bunny.
The pic above doesn't capture her excitement at all. She looks stunned. But perhaps she was just overwhelmed by the bright flash of the photographer.
Here she is petting the bunny's face. She has a bunny stuffed animal that she absolutely adores and hugs, kisses and carries with her everywhere. So I guess maybe that's part of why she loved the life size one so much.

All I can say is we now have a permanent date with the Easter bunny every year now :) Now that I know she is such a big fan. After that we took her to ride on the quarter cars and rides in the mall. Here she is in a little space ship that ate our quarter, made odd noises but didn't move at all. Hmmm.. we should've picked a different one. Oh well. It made for a few cute pics-- showing her cute Easter dress and jacket.

Here she is talking and jabbering. Nothing is really understandable. But she sure sounds cute when she jabbers away. And I'm sure she knows what she's saying.
After we left we all went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. That is our FAVORITE restaurant ever. And Ava quite likes it too. This pic I thought was so cute just don't mind the runny nose. Poor little girl has had this annoying cold for over a month now. It just never seems to go away.
Me and A
All in all it was a great night. Ava had her first meet and greet with the Easter bunny and we had fun taking her out! Until next year Mr. Easters....

Boondocks and stuff

I took Ava to Boondocks for one of my best friends daughters birthday party. It was fun and Ava was overwhelmed by all the games and lights. We took her to play in a gated area and she would walk up to all these random people and start jabbering or smile ( or she walked up and frowned at one lady. It was hilarious. The lady busted up laughing. So did Ava.) Ava has gotten over her stranger danger phase and loves everyone now.

Me and Alisha.

Here is Ava with some of the tickets she won from the games. She seemed way more interested in those then the games themselves.. haha go figure.

Then later that night we went out to eat with my in-laws for my brother-in-laws birthday.
OKay so these next to were from a different day. But isn't she so dang cute. I just had to share them. She is just such a fun little thing.

SO these next to pics are from dinner with my in-laws. Here she is with 2 of her little cousins. It was SO cute watching them play and interact. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. She loves to play and laugh. It's been so incredible to watch her in all the different stages but it almost makes me sad. I just want her to stay my little baby forever.. I LOVE her :)
