LOL

The other day I discovered a fun game to play with Ava. Since she is always sticking her tongue out at everyone like a little lizard I decided to stick mine out back at her making a Blaahh sound. Well she loved it and would mimic me and stick hers out back. I loved how she was responding so I would laugh and she would smile back at me. It was really the first time I saw her give a real smile. And she would smile over and over and she giggled for the first time. It was so cute!! Now Russell and I play this game with her all the time and she smiles so much now. Happy Anniversary!

Wow, Russ and I have been married for 6 years today. I love him so so much and now we have a beautiful baby girl. Our life together just keeps getting better. I am so happy with him. Russell truly is my soul mate and best friend. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband that loves me and our daughter so much. He has been such an amazing dad to Ava, better than I could have ever imagined. I feel so blessed. Thanks babe for an amazing 6 years of marriage and I'm looking forward to many more.

Day Off Together

My favorite day of the week is Thursday. That is Russell's day off from work and a chance to spend time together. We spent the day shopping. We went to the mall and bought little A some cute little dresses and to Barnes and Noble to buy baby books. We ended the day taking an evening stroll around our neighborhood, up and around the hills. It was such perfect weather. Lucky enjoyed the outdoor adventure as well. A perfect day. Next week I'm heading back to work. So this is my last week just to enjoy off. Luckily I only have to go back part time but it will still be tough to leave little A. I will miss her. I have been taking care of her every day since she was born so to leave her for a few hours will be hard. But I know she will be in good hands with my mom who will be taking care of her while I am gone. Mom is excited to be able to get to be with her. Then Thursday's Russell will get good one on one time with her, since that day it will be all him. But for now I am enjoying my time away from work relaxing with my wonderful hubby and my adorable daughter. I just love LOVE Love her!! She is the best baby ever!

One Month

Wow, I can't believe time has time has flown by so quickly. It feels like just yesterday I was in the hospital having my little baby girl and now she is already over a month old. Last Sunday we took Little A up to Rock Canyon Park in Provo. It was a fun afternoon walking the trail around the park. Lucky had fun too. Ava slept in daddy's arms the whole entire time. I guess she was just so cozy in his arms. She loves her daddy! He is just so sweet with her!! I just love them both so much. I love our little growing family so much!
