Pool Time

Today I took Ava to the pool, we went with Makenzie and Vea. It was Ava's first time and she LOVED it. I had a pool floaty for her to sit in. And she was like a fish pushing around the water. It was so cute. I can't wait to take her again. OH AND by the way she is so good at sitting up all by herself now. She's been doing it for a while now but she's really getting strong where she can sit up for longer. I love how she hunches over like a little monkey balancing with her arms. haha. SO cute. LOVE her. She is truly my little buddy, my bestest little friend!

Just for Fun

Last night we went to Cabala's just for fun, we've never been there before. While we were there we took these.

Here Ava's sitting on a scale. It says she is 15 lbs. Wow big girl! I think its off though, she is less than that. Look closely Ava is actually smiling under her binky. Happy baby!

We were hoping to find her a helmet but even the smallest one was too big.

Giddy up Cowboy..

Friday night we took Ava to the Pleasant Grove Rodeo. It was SO much fun! Ava was SOOOO good. Like surprisingly good. It started at 8pm and she took 2 hour nap before we went. She was so happy. She let everyone hold her and was so content. Lately she's been really particular about people and won't go to anyone that she doesn't know really well. And even some people that will smile and look at her she will start crying cuz it scares her. So I was so happy that she was cooperative this night.

Here is me and Angenelle.

Here is me and Ashlie, she looks so great for being 7 months prego with a baby boy!

Here is Ava and Angenelle's friend Matt. Ava LOVED him. Usually she is scared of guys she doesn't know and will cry when they try and hold her. But not with him. She would just stare at his face and try to grab at him. She must have had a little crush..

4 Months

Wow, little baby is the big 4 months old today and had her dr appt. Dr says she even advanced for her age. She can already sit up by her self for a few seconds. And on the questionere the dr gave us, baby did everything on it. She rolls over, swats at toys, puts absolutly everything she can in her mouth to suck on. We just love her. She is such a sweetheart. And today she has discovered her TOES and FEET for the first time. While at the dr's office she was pulling on her toes, trying to stick her foot in her mouth. Funny baby.

Air Show

Last weekend Russ, Ava and I headed up to the air show at Hill AFB. At first we weren't going to go because the forecast said rainy and only 60 degrees as a high. But then at the last minute we decided to go anyways and I'm so glad we did. We've been before a couple years ago. But it just seemed better this time. There were more planes on display and the airshow was more intense.

Ava was overall really good. Especially considering we were there for 5 hours. The air show was loud but not too bad. But there was a couple types of planes the F-16 and F-18 that were so loud that every time they flew overhead Ava would cry. We would put our hands over her ears to try and drown out some of the noise and she hated that.
So we bought Ava some earplugs at a booth there. But it was a one size fits all, all but baby. We tried putting them in and then pulling her beanie over it to keep them in. But she absolutely HATED it. This pic was taken right after we put them in so she hasn't had time to cry yet. But she wouldn't let us keep them in. And they kept falling out anyway so we had to just cover her ears when it was loud.

At the end of the day. The Thunderbirds performed the main event of the airshow. By now the sky was really clouding up looking like it was going to pour. And it DID. Luckily by this time she was so worn out from the eventful afternoon that she fell asleep and we could enjoy the rest of the airshow with her sound asleep in her stroller bundled up nice and warm. I was surprised she slept through all that noise.

Saturday Night

Saturday night, Makenzie invited a bunch of us friends over for a BBQ. Russ and I showed up a bit late since we stopped by Dusty's wedding reception first. Dusty was his best friend in high school and growing up. He was also Russell's best man at our wedding. It was great to meet his new wife. It was interesting to see old friends from back in the day when me and Russ first met. Let me just say I am so SO happy that I ended up with Russell and not anyone else I dated. This night reminded me how things may have been if it had turned out differently. And I am so grateful that things turned out the way they did. I love Russell so much. He is my best friend, lover, husband, soulmate. He is my everything! And I have never been happier then how I am now. I love our life, our daughter. Everyday is just so happy. I love our baby girl Ava, so much. We are so happy being parents. I am so happy with my life!
Anyways, so after the wedding reception we went over to Kenzie's house. It was a great time. I met some great new people too.

Me and Makenzie, btw her house was so cute!
Here is Ava, Vea. It was so cute to see the babies all playing.

New Little Friend

Ava has a new little buddy, Vea. She is Makenzie's adorable little girl. It was fun hanging out at the park. Ava was so interested to watch Vea wiggling and squirming around. I just know they are going to be great friends! Here are some pics from our outing.
