Independance Day weekend!

We had a FABulous 4th of July weekend! Full of hot pool days, Zoo, parade, fireworks and lots of yummy fatty foods! Here is my little firecracker. Before the fireworks we went to 5 Guys to get some burgers! Hands DOWN better than In-n-out!

We went to the parade with Russell's family. Ava was loving hanging out with her little cousins!

Just me and my lil' love bug :)

Saturday I went to the pool w/ my bff Ashlie and her little girl! Ava loves to copy everything I do. Including how I wrap the towel around myself. haha. So funny!

Ava and Jaycie.

Me and Ash.

We went to the Freedom Festival in downtown Provo the watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks.

The next day we decided to spend the day at the Zoo!

Pretty sure this was her favorite part. Riding on the pretend horses.

So all over the park were these dinosaurs. They would make noise and react some even spraying water. Ava was so freaked out and thought they were real.

Love us :)

Again Ava is obsessed with carousels so we had to indulge her on this one.

Ava was getting so much attention from the animals. When we were by the big gorilla he walked up the the glass lunging towards her WOW it even freaked me out. Those things are so human like. Here Ava was taunting the turkey. Haha funny.

And at the end of the day we were tired and cooked. We headed out for some yummy seafood after. What a perfect day :)

Country Concert

Last week we got the chance to go to a fun outdoor concert for Country Arts, Mark Willis and Mark Chesnett. Russell's work was one of the sponsers there. We had so much fun and it was a perfect summer night!

One year Older

Soo.. I am another year older and wiser. Last Wednesday I officially turned 27! Crazy how fast time flies. I still feel like I am in high school and young. People still think I am 19 haha and are always shocked when i tell them my real age. I guess that's a good think though. This Birthday was surprisingly one of my best ones. I was really feeling the love from all my friends, family and co-workers. I feel so lucky to have such amazing people around me.

This is me... at work... in glasses...
This is what I got from my co-workers: Dippidee Cupcakes! A-MAY-Zing! And SO fatty so I had to share :)

These gorgeous things from my hubby and the sweetest card with money for shopping ;) He knows me OH so well!

A new watch, also from my man!

I wanted to do something super fun so we went to a water park in SLC for the day! It was SOO hot outside, perfect pool weather!

My cute kiddo! She loves the pool!

The day was filled with lots of goodies, giggles and fun! So lucky to have these two! My momma made us a yummy cake and dinner to come home to which was amazing after a long day at the pool.

What a great day! I guess getting older isn't that bad. As long as I have people around me that I love. I have a great family, a good job and amazing supportive friends!

Strawberry Days!

My bf Ashlie called me the other day to tell me she was in Utah County and we should put our kiddos in the Strawberry Days Children's parade. It was fun! Basically everyone dresses up patriotic and decorates their bikes, wagons or strollers and you take a walk though the streets waving at all the people watching on the side.

Ashlie's little boy Jax is just 6 months younger than Ava and he loved her. It was so cute he kept tryin to give her a kiss and she wasn't going for it. He is such a sweetie.

Summertime is in full swing!

What is happiness? SUMMERTIME yep, nothing better than being outside enjoying it with the people you love most. Here is what we have been up to...

My little Miss and I have been soaking up the summer sun and the pool.. She has a fantastic tan already (and I have been drenching her in Sunblock!) but she is still so dark. She has awesome skin.
We go on scenic drives all the time. Here is Miss A sportin her new sunglasses! Pretty cute I must say ;0

Ava is the most social little thing ever and she LOVES boys! Yep at 2 yrs old she is already the biggest flirt ever. Its the cutest thing to watch her. She smiles at them and giggles so sweet to anything they say and hugs and holds their hands. She is flirting! She prefers older boys and I get why. They dote on her and are just so sweet. Little boys are just so kind and loving and give her loads of attention and admiration. And come on who wouldn't love that? She is smart she knows other little girls aren't so attentive and so she would rather befriend the boys. She still will play with other little girls but only if there aren't boys around. haha funny.

This is Jackson, a 4 and a half yr old boy she met at the pool. She absolutely adored him and he loved her. Ava is quite popular at the pool. I love watching her interact with other kids.

And of course we need and Mommy pic in here too. I love these next couple :)

Ava got a haircut and I had a feather extension put in. I think its so cute. Especially when I put her hair in piggy's they stick out so cute. I am gonna have a couple more put in on the other side soon. And whats funny is she is so proud of it, she totally understands. She will go around showing people and pointing to it. If you ask her where her feather is she will show you. When we were at the salon she held so still while they did it and was just smiling from ear to ear with pride :)

Here is Ava at the pool again. She is obsessed with the slides, and again has NO fear. She will go head first totally dunking under water and still loves it. Such a difference from last year. Wow she is growing up.. she is not a baby she really is a little grown up person now.

At the pool that day.

So people always ask me if she really keeps those sunglasses on. Yep she likes them! And they look adorable. I picked ones that seem comfortable and its SOO bright outside I'm sure that helps her want to. Now when we go places in the car or wherever she will voluntarily ask and want her sunglasses on. Now I need to figure out how to get her to keep her cute little fedora hat on...

Haha she randomly started putting her hands up on the way down, I think cuz she sees the older kids. So cute.

Its so fun to see Ava's little personality develop. She is definitely her own little person. And has her naughty days but she is so funny. She is always smiling and keeps us all laughing. Everyone who meets her loves her and is always a fan favorite wherever we go. I love how she is finally getting better around new people. She use to be shy around adults and frown and new people now she will give big smiles and talk to them. I love how social she is! She will make friends with everyone (preferably boys though) but really loves all kids!

I just know this summer is gonna be amazing!
