Sunny Afternoon

Finally some nice sunny weather. Hooray! We decided to go to take our little family to the park yesterday. It was so nice. Lucky got to run around a bit and Ava felt grass for the first time. We let her put her toes in it. I'm excited for summer and to spend even more time outside with her. Here are some pics from our afternoon.

Me and You

This and That

I just love LOVE Ava's eyes. They are so enchanting. I really hope they stay blue just like her daddy's. We have come to the conclusion that she looks like Russ in the eyes and then from the nose on down she looks like me. She has my high cheekbones and my lips, and her nose is alot like mine but not completely, it is a mix of both of ours.

Here is Ava in her snuggley warm snowsuit. This was April 15th the day we had the crazy winter storm. But she's all warm. And so cute!

The Dress

So I wanted to give my mom the proper recognition for this incredibly gorgeous dress she made with love for Ava's blessing. Here are a couple pics. And what made this dress extra special was that the trim around the waist was actually off my wedding dress. It was one of my straps with the tiny beading. So Little A had a part of me on her special day!

Ava's Blessing Day

Ava's blessing day was so incredible. We had it over at my parent's house. All of Russell's family and most of my family were there. The blessing was so special and Little A slept through the whole thing. Ava looked so beautiful! My mom made her blessing dress and it turned out so perfect. Thanks mommy! I'm so glad we could all get together to celebrate the birth of our little angel. We all love you Ava so so much.

Sick Baby Girl

My poor little baby girl is sick. It's so sad :( She just coughs and sneezes, her eyes well up with tears and she cries and cries. It just breaks my heart. I hate to see her sad. I just wish I could make her better. We have the humidifier going at night and we bought saline drops for her. I hope her cold doesn't last long. I can't stand to see Little A uncomfortable. I just love her too much.

Bumbo

Ava is almost 8 weeks old and since she is so great at holding her head up we decided she was ready for the bumbo chair. She loves the independance it gives her, and being able to observe the world at her level. She is such a sweetheart!
